General Information

What to expect: A serene oasis at the edge of Union Square, Campton Place, a Taj Hotel comprises two handsome buildings from the early 1900s. The audience is enveloped in utter darkness as a composition of “found sounds” moves about the room’s 169 speakers. The effect is surreal, disorienting, and mesmerizing. Performances are held most Friday and Saturday nights (admission). The Audium is about a mile from the hotel.
